Nuvo Hot or Not?!!!!!!!!

Ok so I had been seeing this Nuvo drink everywhere and I must admit looking at the commercials which featured Lil Wayne at the time made me want it even more, but at that time it was too pricey for me. Im like wow with that price it must be great!!!!Nuvo has also been featured in videos by Keri Hilson, Tank, Flo-rida,Trey Songz and more. It was also featured in Lisa Ray's Reality show on Tvone entitled "Lisa Raye the Real McCoy!!In the show she stated that Nuvo was her favorite and thats all she drunk.Which made me even more curious to go buy!!!
Nuvo is a sparkiling liquor mixed with white wine. It was suppose to market women since it is Pink and use to have for her on the bottle but it was taken off.The bottle is shaped like a huge bottle of perfume which I loved and it also caught my attention. It is said that Nuvo taste like a rasberry ginger ale or a cranberry Sierra mist mixed with Ciroc but I beg to differ. The smallest bottle of Nuvo could cost you around $20 and the biggest bottle could cost you up to $50. Is it worth it??
I honestly do not like Nuvo. It does kinda tast like a cranberry Sierra Mist but it Damn sure don't taste anything like ciroc mixed in. I think it taste like somebody's medicine mixed with a soda!!Not a great taste. A waste of $50 dollars for me. The only excitement it gave me was the fact that it was pink which is my fav color and the bottle was excellent other than that I truly feel I wasted my money. So people before you buy Nuvo make sure you taste it first. If not it could be a waste of your money as well!! In my book Nuvo is no where near hot!!!! But that's just my opinion!!!!!

Gucci Mane keeps it green by recycling money????

Gucci Mane was spotted in a decent local Atlanta strip club off Moreland which he raps about in a few songs called Blaze a few weeks ago. According to my inside source (a stripper who works at Blaze)Gucci Mane was looking really bad and broke down. She says that he has gotten really skinny and his face looks all sunken in. She went on to tell me the strange behavior Gucci had there. Apparently Gucci Mane was extremely wasted or on some serious drugs to be doing all of this strange shit in the club. According to my source Gucci was going up to the stage to make it rain on the strippers but then he would go back up there pick up the money he just threw and start throwing it again. This nigga was recycling the money!!!Smh how fucked up were u Gucci???? I honestly don't think he was making it rain with the same money continuously because he was broke. I honestly believe he was just that wasted. She also stated that he kept rushing in and out of the club like he had important meetings each time. Wow!!!!If this wasn't the funniest story I have ever heard. I was chocking and in tears when I heard this. Damn I can just see him going up there picking up the money just to throw it again. I heard those strip hoes was mad too. I don't blame them. Get it together Gucci, and what ever shit you was on that night LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!! Its sooo not a good look for you as an artist. Don't ruin your reputation and album sales!!!

Keri Hilson dropped her second album today called "No boys allowed". I must admit when I first heard the album I thought it was garbage. Then I took a closer listen just to give Ms. Keri a chance and the album still was not hot but wayy more tolerable. The album is mostly filled with heart break ballets along with a few women motovational songs. The album had features by Chris Brown, Kanye, J.Cole, Rick Ross, and Timberland. The album had some excellent beats but some of the songs I just wasn't feeling it!!!Her last album was way better. If I had to rate this album I would give it a 7. Sorry Keri I just expected more from you. Lets get it together!!!!

Keyshia Cole is back with her 4th album entitled "Calling all Hearts". I love her album cover on this album she looks great.Now when I first heard the album I was feeling it I still am feeling it, but listening to it a second time changed my perspective a little. Its just not as good as I thought but not a bad cd though. This album has her usual sad love ballads and a few happy love songs. I really think her last album was a bit too happy for her fan base. We are all use to her singing heart break song to the point of not wanting to hear happy songs. This album displays both sides. It shows you how to love and how your love can turn into heartbreak. This album has features from Nicki Minaj, Tank, Faith Evans, and Timberland. This ablum is ok not loving it like I thought. If I had to rate this album it would be a 7.

Jamie Foxx also releases his 4th album today entitled "Best night of my life". This album has alot of different songs. Theres club songs, love songs, sad songs, and make love songs and they all seem to jel on the album nicely. When I first hear the album I didn't think it was that hot. Then I went to the bottom and that where most of the great songs are!!I like this album and Im sure you would too. This album has special features by Drake,TI, Justin Timberlake, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Ludacris and Soulja Boy. If I had to rate this album I would give it an 8. I love Jamie so I already knew it was goin to be a good album. It just scared me a little starting off lol. Well this ends my hot or not. Don't be afraid to leave a comment!!!!!

Waka flocka flame is a new Rapper well known in Atlanta Ga. He is affiliated with rapper Gucci Mane. His new big hit "No Hands" Keeps the clubs jumpin and the asses shakin in strip clubs. Well according to TMZ, Mediatakeout and a few sources I have Waka's house was raided Thursday night here in Atlant ga. My sources tell me that the feds are suspicious of Waka. He's being investigated for prostitution, drugs, gang affiliated things ect ect. According to Tmz Gucci Mane was at the house at the time and got cuffed but was later released. Waka is wanted in Clayton and Henry county Ga.And if your from Atl or know anything about Atl those are the 2 counties you do not want to be locked up in. Especially not wanted in them!!!!Waka is reported to be armed and Dangerous lol!!!!Hmmmm I dunno about that one but hey he does have a song called Hard in the paint and he does sound quite angry!!!I do have a source that tells me he's not all there in the head so ummm yep maybe you guys should Lock up your wives, kids, guns, and knives because Waka is on the loose lol!!!I honestly don't know what to say on this topic. All I can do is rely on my source!!! But in my honest opinion if all of this is true it is a damn shame. I respect artist like Jay Z, 50 cent and Diddy. Why??? Because they never have gotten caught up doing stupid shit. Im sure they have done some dumb shit but you never hear about it. They are business men who are about their paper. Tank's Now or Never!!!!! Hot or not??????

I wrote a blog yesterday about Kandi,Ciara,TI,Jazmine Sullivan,and Diddy's new albums.Discussing if they were hot or not. I got a few responsese from people wondering what happened to Tank since he just recently Dropped his New album entitled Now or Never on Monday.I have to be honest I loved all of Tanks singles. He is a very talented man, but I have just never been a Tanker!!!Not saying anything bad about Tank I just never really took the time out to listen to him like that.Well on this new album I did.I have to admit Im ashamed that I have slept on him for so long.And if you have slept on him you should be ashamed as well. I really feel Tank is not promoted like he should. He is a very talented artist and I feel he needs more exposure. The album "Now or Never" has a sensual and sexual feel to it.Although there are a few love ballads on the album as well.The entire album just flowed to me which is very hard to find these days.The album had special features by Drake,Chris Brown, and J. Valentine.If I had to rate this album from 1 to 10 it would most definately be a 10. Wow I have never given anyone a 10!!Well Tank you deserved it. Great Album!!!!!!!

Kandi's Kandi Koated

The most anticipated albumn from Atlanta's Housewife herself Kandi Burruss hit stores and the net today!!! The album is full of heart felt heart break ballets and sad love songs. Kandi stated on Housewives of Atlanta and in a couple of interviews that she had recently recorded an LP(which is a small album)on Itunes which included the songs "Fly above", "Trade him in" feat Gucci and "I just know" which is on Kandi Koated. Kandi said that she wasn't feeling the same way she felt when she realeased her mini album on itunes anymore. Since her fiance AJ died last year towards the end of Season 2 on Housewives of Atlanta.I can tell that this album may be more personal and deep because she lost a loved one. Now Im going to be honest. I like most of the songs on this album but I honestly feel like I didn't miss anything when I was waiting for this album to drop. The album doesn't suck. I just feel some songs just don't make sense in being on the album. If you lost a loved one or just want to vent out some frustrations then yes buy the album. If I had to rate this from 1-10 I would give it a 7. I honestly feel Kandi should have stuck with her mini album she put out last year and just added to it!!!

In all I would give this Album a 8 if I had to rate it from 1 to 10.

If I had to rate it from 1 to 10 I would give it an 8. Go CiCi!!

TI Shows No mercy

Although in Jail TI has released his new album "No Mercy" on Dec 7,2010. While TI was serving time in the Pen in 2009 he said he was writing for his new album and had Tiny state on the 2009 BET Awards that he was coming back with a Vengence and he was going to show no mercy. Well in my opinion Im a little disappointed in this album. The way he was talking I really thought he was coming back to go in and go hard. This album just wasn't hard enough for me. Not the TI was looking for. The album doesn't suck but I expected more. If I had to rate this album I would give it a 7. Sorry guys but Urban Legend and Im serious were the best TI albums. If he could get back to that TI then shit will really be poppin!!

I honestly can't put this album in a catagorie because each song has a different feel and a different meaning!!In all I like this album. If I had to rate it I would give it a 8.

Willow Smith Whips her fame instead of her education????

Willow Smith is the new 9 yr old hip hop sensation. With the her parents being Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith and her brother also being a well known actor Jayden Smith. You would think that in such a successful household education will be the main foundation that put all this success in this family. Well according to Mediatakeout and Willow Smith education isn't such a big deal to her. Willow stated that she is always with her dad working or on tour that she doesn't get a chance to go to school. She states she does have a tutor but doesn't keep up with her lessons because she is just simply too busy says mediateout. I can't even fathom what is going on in my head on that subject. School is very important to anyone. Especailly elementary!!!If you don't learn as a child then there is no way in hell your going to get it as an adult. Certain things you have to learn young in order to succeed in it as an adult. Yes her money and fame may save her now so she's not too concerned about her education. I mean her parents are filty rich, but thats their money. How do you expect to handle your business properly as an adult if you don't go to school. Especially in the entertainment field. You will get tripple screwed if you don't have any education. You can't trust everyone to handle your business for you. So my words to Willow!!!Fuck the fame for now hun your 9!!!!Get your education and be who you want to be. Because I honestly feel your parents are making you be who they want you to be and you arent being who you want to be. To Will and Jada if you all were regular parents on the streets you would be locked the hell up for child neglect!!! Lets get your heads out of the money and start taking care of your children properly. Your time is up!! Your old!! Stop living through your kids and let them do them!!! As we know Kim K has been reportedly seen w Kanye for the past few years off and on,but in all honesty who haven't we seen Kim Hoe-dashian with? Well according to mediatakeout Kim is supposedly pregnant by Kanye. She has also been accused of calling Kanye non stop and asking him what she should do about the situation says mediatakeout. They apparently heard this from a really reliable source. Someone close to Kim I assume.Now lets be forreal here for a second. I have seen pictures on mediatakeout via other blogs of Kim being out with the guy from her latest season of Keeping up with the Kardashians Miles Austin who plays for the Cowboys. She has also been spotted with the Dream, Halle Berry's baby's father Reggie Bush,and Ray J among others. Too many to name. So do I believe this? Ummmmmm no I think this baby could belong to anyone because in all honesty and Im just being real.This may be just a publicity stunt or even another pay check to Kim. NOPE!!!!!You are sooooooooo WRONG!!!!!!! I have always been a great writer and I have always loved English.I am also fortunate enough to have a few friends in the music bizz that could help me out with promoting my blog and giving interviews which are comming soon. I love my blog more than anything in the world. I found something I am good at and that I love and I get more views each day and for that I am thankful. I now feel how the girls feel on ANTM when the want to win sooo bad that they eat modeling, sleep modeling, talk modeling and walk modeling. I now have that extra Umph in my life and I will work harder everday to let this umph exapand and hopefully become bigger than I have imagined. This is my dream. I claim this and I will work for this no matter what.

I have heard alot of people say that Atlanta is full of wannabe models, rappers, producers, and actors.I would have to agree and disagree with that. I agree that everyone can't be a model, rapper, producer or actor but there is nothing wrong with dreaming as long as you work hard towards that dream everyday. Thats how alot of rappers made it. Biggie, JayZ, Gucci,ect. ect. They didn't just wake up one day and they were famous they worked hard for fame!!!!I personally hate for someone to ask me for a connect to a producer or rapper and when I get them the connect they aren't even on their shit. You can not and will not get anything out there if you don't work towards it. How are you going to blow up as a rapper if you don't want to get into the studio bc your homeboy didn't make the beat and you only wanna fuck with him?What sense does that make. If your homeboy is not out there being heard on the radio and Im trying to put you on with someone who is out there and getting heard and you dont want it. What the hell am I suppose to do?If your not going to promote your music on facebook or twitter. Hell anywhere then I will not take you serious as a rapper. A rapper will grind hard no matter who the producer is. If you want it then you would bust your ass everyday to get it. If your not then you just don't want it that bad. People like this really piss me off and it makes me not want to help anyone but my damn self. I refuse to work harder than you on your goal. Where they do that at????Fuck outta here!!!

Did Drake Smash Waynes girl while he was doing time????

According to mediatakeout.com Last month Lil Wayne walked up to Drake after a concert and just cold cocked him in the face. Mediatakeout didn't explain the reason then.They just assumed like the average person that some inside shit was going on in young money. Well today mediatakeout posted that the whole thing was because Drake slept with Waynes girl friend Shantell(the sister of D.Wood from Danity Kane)while he was in prison. Now I am not going to jump to any conclusions because I haven't heard any of this come from Wayne or Drakes mouth. Im just goin by mediatakeout.Apparently Wayne felt disrespected. It wasn't the situation it was the principle of the situation. From waynes point of view. I put you on(Drake) and you shit on me, show me no love while Im locked away, but you can fuck my girl. In all honesty if that really went down and if that is how Wayne feels I can't do anything but to respect it and agree with him 100%. You just dnt bite the hands that feed you. Or the hand that puts you on. Smh at you Drake. And to think you were an honest homeboy in my head (in my Wendy Williams voice lol).
Now my view on all of this. I personally don't know Wayne or Drake but I honestly can not see Drake fuckin Shantell. I personally dnt think she's hot!!! She has a hot ass body but not hot enough to fuck up a record deal. Hey thats just my opinion. So to me all this drama is straigh BS. I honestly can't see Drake doing that. Maybe him fuckin Nicki,Rihanna, Da video chick he was with, but not Shantell. Just don't see that!!!

Celebrity New Hiv Ad!!! Is it Contridicting????

HIV is the number one killing disease in the world besides cancer. It is killing thousands and thousands of people each day.So to get some awareness out there Celebrities team up to do a Keep a child alive campaign where they are lying dead in a casket. Creepy, but a great way to get the point across!!!The ads include, Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, Swiss Beats, Usher and many more.
Now lets get down to the contradictions of this. I honestly feel it is great to give awareness to such a horrible disease such as HIV.I know that no one better to do it is celebrities why? Because thats who people would look up to and thats who people listen to. But why not get people who are suffering from aids for some campaigns. They are going through the situation so I feel they would know a little bit more about it and can make the point come across a little bit better. I don't understand why they choose some rappers and even actors or actresses to do PSAs on this subject when most of them rap, do movies and sing about sex. I honestly don't think a rapper or singer who only sings about or raps about sex. Without even saying one word about a condom. Little kids/teens/adults are listening to this stuff. Same goes for an actress. I just dont get it. If you want to promote HIV and what it can do to you then you should be able to promote not having sex.
I want to touch an a few celebs who just seem so contradicting to me on this subject. Kim Kardashian now Kim how are you really doing a ad on HIV awareness??? You became famous off of having a sex tape with Ray J??? May I add unprotectedly. Then you come out to do a photoshoot about HIV? Was this another photoshoot to you or are you really trying to help?Alicia and Swizzy. I love the both of you guys great couple!!!But how were you guys promoting safe sex and HIV awareness when Swizz cheated on his wife with Alicia and obviously got her pregnant. That wasn't safe sex. You could've contracted HIV and gave it to Alicia or you wife!!!Once again I just dont get it!!!
I appreciate the effort these celebs put in to promote HIV awarness,but dnt be that celeb that is just straight up nasty. Then come and try to tell me about safe sex and HIV!!!!Get the f*ck out of here because I really wouldnt want to hear the sh*t. So how do you think the rest of America feels about it!! The Soul Train Music Awards

The Soul Train Music Awards was held in Atlanta, Ga and hosted by Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson. Once again they did an amazing job as host. Although I do feel that they talked a tad bit too much and it probably bored the viewers bc I was kinda bored at times.I must admit Taraji Killed the dance battle with Terrance loved how she Whipped her hair!!!!
The show opened up with an amazing perfomance from R. Kelly who song some of his old jams and finished it off with his new single "When a woman loves" He ended his new song with a 1950s doo whop performance which was very excellent. Probably one of the best perfomaces I have ever seen in the history of Award shows. There where also a special tribrute to my all time favorite singer in the world Anita Baker. Her tribute performance was song by Tamia, Chrissete Michelle, Faith Evans and many more. They also paid a tribrute to Ron Isely!!!There were also performances by Keyshia Cole, Jazmine Sullivan, Neyo, Ceelo, Erica Badu, Chante More and many more.
There were great nominees for great categories of music, but sadly not
everyone took home an award. Now lets check out who took home there Soul Train Music Award. Usher earned himself two awards One for "Album of the year" and the other was a tie with Tre Songz for "Best Male R&B/Soul". Alicia Keys also took home two awards"Record of the year" and "Best female R&B Soul". Ciara took home the"Best dance performance award". While B.O.B and Bruno Mars took home the "Song of the year Award" for the song Nothing on you.

Well Nicki Minaj does it again but this time with her own Album. Nicki released her first albm entitled Pinky Friday and I must admit its very hott!!!Nicki has artist colaborations with Rihanna, Eminem, Kanye and more. The album is a mixture of the Old Nicki and the New Nicki. She also switches it up on most songs by colaborating both Nicki's together. For the first album u did a great job Nicki!!! If I had to rate her albumn from a scale from 1-10 I would give Nicki a 9 she really deserves it!!!!!

Ria's Musical Palet #1 (Rihanna, Gucci Mane, Kanye West and Waka Flocka)

This is my first music blog whatsoever. I always like to discuss how I feel abt albums. Especially when it comes to people wasting money in this horrible recession. So I have pin pointed a few artist to discuss their albums. All of them have recents albums. Some dropped this week and some dropped a few wks to last month ago. This is what I think abt the albums. So here we go!!!!!!

Rihanna who has dropped her 5th albumn which is called Loud hit the stores and net on Nov 16, 2010. I personally think the album is ok. I feel that she kinda went a different way with this albumn than the last "Rated  R"and she didnt stay true to her fan base on this one. This whole albumn is upbeat tempos like some techno ish!!!!!!And I jus dnt think we are all use to it yet. If I had to give this album a rate from 1-10 I would honestly probably give it a 6.5.

Kanye West also dropped an album on the 16th of Nov entitled My twisted Dark Fantasy and that is exactly what it sounds like. Something dark and Twisted. I will admit I do like a few of the songs on the albumn but I do feel it to be a bit dark, sad, scary, demonic  a bit and just a totally different Kanye. If I had to rate this album I would give it 8 jus because its Kanye I will give him a few extra points!!!

Gucci Mane who is Atlanta's own and da coolest person I have ever parlayed with came out with his album entitled The Appeal: The State vs Roderick Davis. And I must say this is the best album I have heard come frm Gucci I like guccis albums all of them, but for some reason this one caught my attention and I cant keep it out of my cd player in my car or off my ipod. This album is full of Gucci flavor and I really do feel he is sorry for all his mistakes on this one. If I had to rate this I would give Gucci a 9!!!!

Last but not least Waka Flocka hmmmmm Waka has jus put out his first album entitled Flockaveli. All I to say is not a good look for the first album. I hated it!!!I couldnt even get into it. I slapped it out of the cd player as soon as I heard it. Wacka u have alot to do buddy. Let's start by putting well known artist on your album so people can relate and actually know who that person is. Dnt make your first album w a bunch of nobodies!!!If I had to rate this Im sry Waka I love u. I rep ATL w u all day but ur album is a 4 to me because you have 4 good songs lol!!!!Lets step it up!!!!
